Welcome to my professional blog! My name is Leslie Wells, and I am a Graduate Student at Texas State University pursuing my master’s degree in Family and Child Studies on the child life track. After struggling to find my place in the professional world I have finally found my true calling as a child life specialist. Although my trip through academia has taken many twists and turns, I am absolutely certain that this is where I was meant to be all along. In addition to being a lifetime student (no I’m not joking), I enjoy reading, playing with my four dogs, shopping, going to the movies, and spending time with my family. I am absolutely obsessed with Disney, Lilly Pulitzer, and anything art related (Pinterest is my secret addiction).
